His essays on Colson Whitehead, David Wojnarowicz, Gordon Matta-Clark, Kathy Acker, Rachel Kushner, Don DeLillo, the Left Behind novels, William Gibson,  Richard Wright, and Ishmael Reed have appeared in Post45 Peer Reviewed, The Millions, Contemporary Literature, Modern Fiction Studies, Studies in American Fiction,  Cultural Critique, African American Review, and other journals.
